The usual trash! The brand lacks creativity and innovation. Please tell Pharrell this constructive criticism. he only dope outfit is what he has on the 1st page those blue jeans, blue tee and new IC kicks. I prefer Bape over BBC / Ice Cream because they seem to put more thought into the designs and ironically the owners of bother companies under discussion are best buds. SMH!

THE SEASON 7 COLLECTION FOR BBC ISN’T WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. I MEAN IF THEY’RE GONNA SELL CLOTHES FOR THAT TYPE OF MONEY AT LEAST MAKE EVERYTHING HOT. I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO PERFORM WITH PHARRELL ON THE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW..AND END UP SEEING THE SHOWROOM IN NY AROUND EARLY MAY.

I DIDN’T SEE ONE THING THAT I’D WANT TO ACTUALLY BUY IN A HURRY. I HONESTLY LOVE THE OLD LOGOS FROM BBC & ICE CREAM.

I THINK THEY SHOULD STICK CLASSIC BLUEPRINTS RATHER THAN TRY SO HARD TO BE NEW.
TAKE BAPE® FOR INSTANCE…THEY’VE BEEN USING THAT APE LOGO FOR YEARS AND HAVE BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL.

YOU WON’T CATCH ME WEARING AN ICE CREAM HOODIE WITH A LEOPARD ON THE BACK OF IT…OR $1250.00 JACKET WITH SMILEY FACE PATCHES ALL OVER IT.

AND I REALLY WANTED TO BUY A BBC VARSITY THIS FALL/WINTER BUT IT SEEMS THAT I WILL BE GOING APE INSTEAD. THAT BBC JACKET WITH “WEALTH CLUB” ON THE BACK OF IT COULD HAVE BEEN WAY, WAY BETTER. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

LUCKILY PHARRELL HAS IMMENSE STAR POWER AND A VERY STRONG FAN BASE. HE CAN WEAR ANYTHING..AND MAKE HIS FANS WANNA WEAR IT TOO. HE WORE VANS AT HIS PERFORMANCES AND EVERYBODY RAN AND BOUGHT VANS.

SMH. VANS LOOK LIKE PRISON SHOES. OH WELL. I WILL WEAR MY GOLD BATHING APE ROADSTAS AND FEEL CONTENT. FOLLOWING SOMEONE’S STYLE DOWN TO THE WAY THEY CUT THEIR HAIR..IS VERY DISTURBING.

BUT WHO AM I TO JUDGE? PHARRELL IS A MILLIONAIRE.
    I’M A COLLEGE STUDENT.

    SIGNED….

i agree with kwame was saying….. im really not too impressed with season 7. Didn’t really see anything that is a must cop. I was also planning on getting a varsity this fall/winter but looking at season 7 i dont think bbc is the way im gonna go. I’ll most likely stick with bape.

@KWAME. Much respect, but I cannot let that comment about Pharrell and Vans fly :-) I think for the first time in a very long time, we are seeing Pharrell being heavily influenced by a movement that was steam rolling waaaay before he helped amplify the movement to the masses. His recent style shift to even tighter jeans and vans came after a number of others stoked the flames. Young kids in NYC have been rockin’ tight jeans and $35 Vans for well over a year now (maybe longer) up and down Flatbush Ave and no doubt throughout the L.E.S. and Soho. Vans was seeing record sales way before Pharrell slipped on a pair - but much like he did for BAPE, he is helping to introduce the brand to people that would have previously slept on it. He gets all the credit for intro’ing Bape to the US in a big way (which he clearly deserves), but the movement was alive and kicking for over 10 years- just ask the Beasties, Ian Brown and others.

Pharrell is clearly a major, major style icon, and definitely one of my favorites to watch. So it was definitely interesting for me to see him settle into something that was already so established. I think it is great though… he still does it better than anyone else. I am a skater that came of age in the early 90s - a time when skateboarding was filled with contradictions and the unexpected. Pharrell seems to embody that to some degree - he does the unexpected and rightfully rewarded for it. Even if it involves buying $40 Vans - how much more unexpected can you get from a guy that has any association with hip-hop and it excess.

I just revealed to the world that I have no fucking life… so I gotta get out!

Pharelle’s ish is probably the only designer label I would concider buying outside Ralph. His rugbys are bananas. BBC makes Roca Wear look like Alexander Julian, or Bugle Boy lol. http://www.nappyheadinc.com
